Admission Procedures and Tuition Information
| 1. Visit Turning Point School |
| Prospective Primary and Elementary parents attend an Open House or Admissions Coffee; request an application packet. |
| 2. Submit an Application |
| Submit a completed application for admission and application fee to the school office as early as possible. Primary (preschool), Kindergarten, and Level 1 due December 10, 2012; Levels 2-5 and Middle School due January 25, 2013. |
| 3. Take the ISEE Exam |
Middle School applicants must submit a Student Questionnaire and take the ISEE exam. Official results of the test must be sent directly to sent to us by ISEE. Our registration number is 054174.
Turning Point is ISEE test site on December 1, 2012 for grade levels 5-8. |
| 4. Attend a Classroom Observation |
| Parents of Primary (preschool) and Elementary applicants attend a Classroom Observation and Program Orientation on a designated Thursday morning (9:00-10:30 am). |
| 5. Attend an Evening Open House |
| Middle School applicants and their parents are required to attend an evening Open House in November or January, either before or after submitting an application. |
| 6. Interview |
| Parent Interviews will be conducted in December, January, February, and March. Student interviews will be scheduled during a Wednesday afternoon in February. Please contact the Admissions Office for scheduling information. |
| 7. Admissions Decisions |
| Families will be notified of the Admission Committee's decision by the end of March. |
| 8. Placement Fee |
| A one-time entrance fee of $1,500 per child is required for each new student. |
| 9. Tuition Payment Plans |
Payment plans are stipulated on the enrollment contracts.
Registration: $2,000 non-refundable registration fee, which is part of tuition, is due upon enrollment.
One-Payment Plan: Tuition is paid in full by July 1, includes a $100 discount.
Two-Payment Plan: Tuition is divided into two equal payments due by July 1 and December 1.
Four-Payment Plan: Tuition is divided into four equal payments due by July 1, September 1, December 1, and April 1, and includes a billing fee with each payment.

| 10. Tuition Assistance |
Limited tuition assistance is available at Turning Point School and is determined by a family's ability to contribute to the student's educational costs, an evaluation of the family's household income information, and review of the family's current tax information. Applications for tuition assistance for new families are available through School and Student Services (SSS) and must be completed and submitted by February 1. | 11. After School Care and Programs |
After School Care: After School Care is available for full-day Primary, Level K, and Level 1 students from 2:45 pm - 6:00 pm, for Level 2-4 students from 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm, and for Level 5-8 students from 3:40 pm - 6:00 pm. The daily rate for After School Care is $20. If you purchase 50 days or more at one time, the daily rate is $18 per day. Any unused days will be refunded or rolled over to the following school year. After School Care is organized by level with age-appropriate activities, including time for homework.
After School Programs: A variety of After School Enrichment Programs are available for all levels (Primary must be full day) at an additional cost per class (starting at $160 for the trimester). Most classes run from 3:15-4:15 pm for eight sessiosn per trimester. A snack is provided. Past classes have included drama, sports, cooking, Spanish, dance, art, science, garding, robotics, and crafts. |

Tuition is set to minimize additional fees and includes the cost of providing the full academic program for each student, including instructional materials, study tours, overnight educational trips, if applicable, one yearbook per student, PSA fees, and milk/juice.
